FreemanZ's First Ad
In appreciation of FreemanZ's volunteer work, as well as his dilligence as the magazine's
Distributor and as a Contributing Artist, West Virginia Family magazine's Editor offered
some free advertising space. This frame shows the ad in-progress, including construction
lines not visible in the printed copy.

This is an early version of an advertisement Freeman produced using
Quark XPress. A subsequent version introduced the Freeman Z trademark.

This experience in calibrated, four-color production was put to good use
for West Virginia Family, and later on for Peacework andthe Utne Reader
magazines.
