About Jeffrey Manzelli
Is a Massachusetts (independent media producer) most notable for being successfully prosecuted by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, literally for the act of openly documenting illegal police intimidation directed against himself in the exercise of his right to practice Journalism.
He produces documentary and other content for local and national radio programs (link)
Manzelli's prosecution was quickly followed by (more cases) , several other people, activist, lawyer, One of these cases, brought by BU Police Officer Nuzi(?) charged a man with felony wiretap as the man recorded Nuzi ... The man was acquitted of the (disorderly?) man was, however convicted of wiretap. Manzelli was charged by the same officer Nuzi of intimidating him as a witness against that same man. Although prosecution ...
Prosecution also asserted that Manzelli had been "Harrassing" BU Professors. In fact, Manzelli had emailed two professors, Dr. Andrew Bacevich and Dr. Howard Zinn, through their BU email addresses. Bacevich, of whom Manzelli had produced a radio segment (link) and with whom he had previous emails, did not respond. Dr. Zinn responded thusly.

"It was a rant." said defense attorney Terrence Stone. But perhaps what's most revealing of Prosecution's motives in the case is in the "deal." Manzelli's plea was nolo-condendere. He did a year's probation and paid the court and the fat bully cop compensation fund or whatever, but what did Prosecution really "get?"
